Who makes HyperMonitor?
HyperMonitor is made by Felix Web, an independent developer based in the United Kingdom.
You can reach the developer directly at hello@hypermonitor.app, for support, licensing, volume pricing or anything else.
How is it built?
HyperMonitor is a native SwiftUI app for macOS 14 Sonoma or later, on Apple silicon and Intel. It reads processes and sockets with libproc, samples CPU and memory with ps, and reads launch agents from their plists and launchctl. It installs no kernel extension, agents or background daemons, and it only starts at login if you turn that on.
The app has no analytics, telemetry or account. Its own network traffic is license checks with Lemon Squeezy and update checks. Ask and Explain can use Apple Intelligence on your Mac, or the Claude or Codex CLI you already have, which send data to Anthropic or OpenAI only after you agree. The details are in the privacy policy.
How is it sold?
Every feature is free to try for 14 days, with no signup and no card. After that it’s a one-time purchase, not a subscription, sold through Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. Each license includes 12 months of updates, and the version you have keeps working forever. The current version is 0.7.3; see the changelog for what changed.
HyperMonitor is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Apple Inc.
