Privacy Policy

• Process, port, launch agent and finding data is read and kept on your Mac.
• The app has no analytics, crash reporters, tracking or advertising.
• The app makes no network calls of its own and doesn't listen on any port.
• “Explain” answers come from Apple's on-device model. Nothing is uploaded.
• “Ask” only sends a snapshot after you have reviewed it, through a CLI you choose.
• Checkout is handled by Lemon Squeezy. We never see your card details.
• We don't sell or share your data for advertising.

System information. HyperMonitor reads running processes, open sockets, code signatures and launch agents from macOS using public system interfaces such as libproc. This information is processed in memory on your Mac to build the views you see.

Finding history and settings. Findings you have already seen and your preferences are stored locally on your Mac so HyperMonitor can tell you what is new. They are never sent anywhere.

Explanations. When you ask HyperMonitor to explain a process, the request is answered by Apple's on-device model. The process name, its path and the answer stay on your Mac.

Ask. Ask hands a snapshot of the relevant processes and ports to a command-line tool that is already installed on your Mac, such as an AI assistant CLI. HyperMonitor shows you the exact snapshot first and sends nothing until you confirm. What that tool does with the snapshot is governed by its own provider's terms and privacy policy, not ours. If you never use Ask, nothing is ever shared.

Notifications. Alerts about new findings are delivered locally through macOS Notification Center.

Orders and downloads through our checkout are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy collects the details it needs to process the order, such as your email address, billing country and, for paid orders, your payment details, and sends you your receipt and download link.

We receive the order details Lemon Squeezy shares with sellers, such as your name, email address, country and what you ordered. We use them only to deliver HyperMonitor, provide support and handle refunds.

fantasma.app does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. When you open the checkout, the Lemon Squeezy checkout script is loaded from Lemon Squeezy's servers and is subject to their privacy policy.

The website and downloads are served by hosting providers that keep standard server logs (IP address, time, requested page and browser) for security and reliability.

If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply and help you. We keep the conversation for as long as it is useful for support.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete personal data we hold about you, and to object to how it is used. To make a request, email hello@fantasma.app. For order data held by Lemon Squeezy, you can also contact them directly.

To remove all app data from your Mac, quit HyperMonitor, remove it from Login Items and delete the app along with its folder in ~/Library/Application Support.

HyperMonitor is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will be highlighted on the site.
