HyperMonitor can be downloaded from this website, installed with Homebrew or built from its source on GitHub. Purchases through our checkout are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our reseller and merchant of record, and are also subject to Lemon Squeezy's buyer terms. Prices are shown at checkout and may include taxes based on your location.

You may try HyperMonitor free for 14 days. After that, a license is a one-time purchase:

• A Personal license lets you use HyperMonitor on up to 2 Macs you own or control
• A Team 5-pack lets you use HyperMonitor on up to 5 Macs, one per seat
• Both include all 1.x updates; later major versions may be offered as a paid upgrade
• You can request a refund within 30 days of purchase

Where HyperMonitor's source code is published, that code is covered by the license in its repository, which takes precedence over this section for the code itself.

You may not:

• Redistribute modified copies of the app under the HyperMonitor name or icon
• Present HyperMonitor, or a copy of it, as an official Apple product
• Use HyperMonitor to monitor a Mac you are not authorized to inspect

HyperMonitor helps you understand what is running and listening on your Mac. Its findings are heuristics: a flagged process is not necessarily harmful, and an unflagged one is not guaranteed to be safe. HyperMonitor is not antivirus software and does not replace macOS security features, backups or professional security advice.

Actions you take based on its findings, such as quitting processes or removing launch agents, are your responsibility. Quitting system processes can make macOS unstable or cause data loss.

Ask works by handing a snapshot you have reviewed to a command-line tool already installed on your Mac. That tool, and any service it connects to, is provided by a third party under its own terms. Answers it gives may be wrong; check them before acting on them.

You can get a refund within 30 days of purchase. Email hello@fantasma.app and we'll arrange it through Lemon Squeezy. This doesn't affect any statutory rights you have as a consumer.

HyperMonitor requires macOS 14 Sonoma or later and runs on Apple silicon and Intel Macs. On-device explanations depend on Apple's on-device model being available on your Mac, language and region.

A future macOS update could change the system interfaces HyperMonitor relies on and temporarily or permanently affect some features. We'll make reasonable efforts to keep HyperMonitor working, but we can't guarantee compatibility with every future version of macOS or every Mac.

HyperMonitor is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of HyperMonitor. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app, if any. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

HyperMonitor is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Apple Inc. Mac, macOS and Apple silicon are trademarks of Apple Inc. Other product names shown in screenshots belong to their respective owners.

How we handle data is described in our Privacy Policy.

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use HyperMonitor after a change means you accept the updated terms.
